Summer middle school cross country program

Join weekly training sessions with professional coaches to become a better athlete!

Keep moving this summer through this program with professional local coaches who make running fun! 

What it includes

  • 2 sessions a week 8:30-9:45am, every Tuesday and Thursday 
  • All levels welcome!
  • A variety of sessions that include interval training, trail running, speed work, strength and conditioning and of course some fun and games mixed in!
  • Professional coaches with over 20 years of experience with degrees in exercise science and sports performance. 
  • Communication via email and a Slack channel parents and students can join 
  • Weekly “homework” for students to complete on their own or with family and friends (runs, drills and strength workout outside of our sessions)

Who is this program for?

We are offering this program for all athlete from ages 10-17. No previous training experience is necessary, but if they are already playing a sport or activity that is definitely a bonus. Being able to know why we do something is important and relating the training to individual goals is important.

When:

Week of June 3rd- August 3rd (no sessions 4th of July week)

Where: Not every session is in the same spot.

  • Little salt wash park
  • Fruita Middle school
  • Snooks bottom 
  • Devils canyon (for trail running 1-2x a month)

Cost: $95

PROGRAM GOALS!

  • To build endurance to prepare youth for cross country running
  • Train to participate in a 5k race with the group
  • Gain fitness, learn skills and make new friends!

ANNOUNCEMENT!

In fall 2024 we will be offering an after school cross country program for middle school students!
This summer program will help students prepare. Details coming soon
